Proceeds from the race fund scholarships, support juvenile athletic programs and provide assistance to families in need.   Course : Flat and fast for the first half. Hilly along the backstretch A little over a mile will be run along well trodden trails through the very scenic Turner’s Pond and Trout Brook areas.   Awards: Overall male and female. Three deep in high school, open, masters, senior, and 60 and over; male and female. No double dipping.   Prizes: All runners will be included in a raffle for gift certificates and merchandise prizes. Winners pick from the table in the order they are called. Runners must be present to win. The raffle will begin no later than 7:30   Raffles: Anyone interested may purchase raffle tickets on or before the race day. The raffle items are different than the prizes that the runners are eligible to win. T Shirts: To all runners who pre-register before June 24, 2009. After passing Trailside Museum, bear right onto Canton Avenue. Follow Canton Avenue for 2.6 miles. Turn left into Milton High School From Boston: Southeast Expressway to Exit10 (Squantum Street). Proceed straight to first intersection/stop sign (Adams Street) Turn left. Take right at first light (Brook Road). Proceed to the 4th set of lights. Turn left onto Reedsdale Road. At next light take a right (Canton Avenue) Entrance to Milton High School is a half mile on right.   Note: This is not Cunningham Park where the Milton Road Race in June starts and finishes.
